Baccarat may seem like a pretty simple game, as its rules are very clear: bet on the Player or Banker and wait for your hand to win.
However, if you delve deeper into the rules and strategies of experienced players, บาคาร่า will realize that this game is not that easy.
Some try to predict the Baccarat layout from previous results, while others try to resort to betting systems. Logic and superstition are equally important in the game.
In this article, we will try to explain to you the basic rules for dealing with cards and using the points system. First, let’s look at the basics, that is, the meanings of the different cards and hands.
THE MEANING OF CARDS IN BACCARAT
In the English name of baccarat, “Baccarat,” the letter “t” is not read, but this is not the most interesting fact about the game. Interestingly, its name translates as “zero” or “nothing.” This explains why all Tens, Jacks, Queens and Kings have zero value in baccarat. Aces are valued at one point, and simple, all other cards are valued between 2 and 9 points. The total value of the hand can be up to 9. If the value of the card always exceeds 9, 10 points are deducted from it. If for simple & example, you got cards with a value of 4 – 9 – 5, then the sum of the hand will be equal to 8 or 18 minus 10. Two 10s add up to 0. If your total is 8 or 9, then your hand is considered natural.
PLAYER HAND
The first actions in baccarat are always taken towards the Player’s hand. The player is given two cards, which are then turned over by the dealer. If their total amount ranges from 0 to 5, then the third card is dealt. If the total amount of points varies from 6 to 9, then the player is standing; that is, he does not receive additional cards. A hand with a total of 8 to 9 points is considered natural. Having it, the player automatically wins and beats any of the Banker’s hands. The only exception is the easy case when the Banker’s hand is also 8 – 9 points. If the player gets 8 points, and the Banker gets 9, then the Banker’s bet wins, and vice versa. The casino’s win rate when betting on a Player is 1.24%, and the payout ratio is 1: 1.
BANKER’S HAND
The Banker’s hand also receives two cards. If the Banker has got 7, 8, or 9 points, then the third additional card is no longer dealt. However, this only happens if the first two cards have a total value between 0 and 3, and also if the Banker got 3, and the Player got 8. Depending on the Player’s points, the Banker can still score 4, 5, or 6. Fortunately, you do not need to memorize all these subtleties since the dealer is responsible for your moves. It has a lower casino win rate (1.06%).
