The camera handles chromatic aberrations well, and the 18-55mm VR kit lens is very sharp. However, you can expect some purple fringing around edges of objects in high-contrast situations.
The camera also comes with four different exposure modes. With each exposure mode, you can control the aperture and shutter speed, adjust the flash power, and tweak the white balance.
